	The staff of Menzel Violins is instrumental in maintaining our reputation for quality, service and integrity.

Mo Menzel, President and CEO
Mo Menzel is the daughter of founder Richard E. Menzel and Rosemarie Menzel. She inherited her father's love of tools and learned about their use and lore at his side.She apprenticed with her dad, who instructed her in instrument repair in his workshop.

Mo followed in her father's footsteps when she worked in quality control in the manufacturing sector. After careers in industry, Mo's path led her to a new and exciting career in medicine. She worked at Houston's highly esteemed Texas Children's Hospital and St. Lukes, Texas Heart Institute in cardiac imaging and research.

Gary Lewis, appraiser
Gary has been a fixture at Menzel Violins for over twenty years. His passion for fine instruments began in his boyhood. Mr. Lewis is the only New Jersey member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA), specializing in string instruments and bows.

The AAA promotes uniform standards of appraisal practice and is sworn to uphold strictly ethical standards. Today, few violin dealers abide by these standards, and so are not eligible for membership. Mr. Lewis is an avid violinist who studied with Dr. Jerome Landsman. He plays in a local community orchestra.
